Ranks

Ranks denote the command status of each individual within the Singapore Civil Defence Force’s (SCDF) hierarchy. As the SCDF is a uniformed organisation, a clearly established chain of command is important for tasks to be carried out efficiently. Learn to recognise the ranks in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), SCDF and Singapore Police Force (SPF).
